Early Registration is Underway for Those Who Turn 18 before Election Day 2008

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

Columbia, SC (August 31, 2007) - Registration is underway for those who will turn 18-years-old on or before the November 4, 2008 General Election. Those who register will be eligible to participate in the November General Election, the State Primaries in June, and the Presidential Primaries in January. Those 17-year-olds who register are eligible to participate in only the January and June primaries until they turn 18.

Tuesday, December 5

9:30 a.m. - Lugoff Fire District (Kershaw County)

11:00 a.m. - Kershaw County Council, District 6

 

Monday, December 11

2:00 p.m. - Horry County Local Questions #1 and #2

 

Protest

Thursday, December 14

10:00 a.m. - S.C. House of Representatives, District 29 (Cherokee, Chester, York Counties)

 

The location for the protest and appeals will be in Columbia at 2221 Devine Street in Room 101.
